One of the ways it has achieved this is with its revolutionary patented integrated adaptor and target design, replacing the previous metal wheel clamp and separate target unit. These work in combination with Hunter's high resolution digital cameras and specialist software to calculate completely accurate compensated readings, regardless of how the clamp is positioned on the wheel.

The integrated targets are firmly fixed to the face of the wheel using QuickGrip adaptors which feature spring-loaded arms to grip the tyre, thus avoiding any metal-to-metal contact and potential rim damage. Equally these are incredibly quick to attach. Made from a tough polymer material to withstand a tough workshop life, these are nearly 50 percent lighter in weight than previous target and clamp assemblies. The new design also features a much narrower profile, making it easier to use in restricted or cramped bays.

Furthermore, technicians using the new Hunter HawkEye Elite TD will be able to utilise the aligner's unique QuickComp system. QuickComp allows users to perform rolling compensation, which is essential to take account of any rim runout or mounting error, with just one simple roll forward. Previous compensation audi requirements needed the technician to roll the vehicle back and forward. (Indeed, some other manufacturers' aligners even require a full 360 degree wheel revolution to ensure a true reading). However, Hunter have rewritten the compensation rule book, with this new system!

NEM USA Announces New North American HQ in Greenville County, SC

Energy Grant Opens Up New Career Opportunities for Hartford Students

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 30, 2011 - Hartford, CT, Maynard, MA & Denver, CO – Energy consumption in the United States is expected to increase by 49% by 2025 yet there may not be enough qualified workers to handle the demand. A new project presently underway, the EPCE Smart Grid Workforce Development Grant, is committed to ensuring there is a skilled workforce to replace the estimated 50% of technical workers that are set to retire in the next five to 10 years. Funded by a U.S. Department of Energy workforce and training grant and administered by the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) on behalf of the Energy Providers Coalition for Education (EPCE), the project is committed to training 1,800 current and future industry workers on smart grid technologies through the end of next year.

Representing approximately 70 percent of the industry workforce, EPCE (http://www.epceonline.org) is a unique national coalition of industry organizations that partners with higher-education to develop, sponsor, and promote online learning programs to help the energy industry meet its workforce needs. This grant project is also conducted in partnership with Virtual High School Global Consortium (http://www.govhs.org), the pioneer of K-12 online learning and course design for teachers, Northeast Utilities (http://www.nu.com), operators of New England's largest utility system, and Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) Education Foundation (http://www.cbia.com/edf/) whose mission is to help develop a skilled, knowledgeable workforce in Connecticut.

Twenty-two students from the Academy of Engineering and Green Technology, most dodge of which are going into their senior year, were selected to participate in the two-year project. It began with a four week, hands-on internship and will continue with two specially-designed online courses created by Virtual High School (VHS), but facilitated at the Academy. Starting next month, students will take Math rc helicopter and car market place ematics of Electricity: Careers in Electric Power and, in the spring, Renewable Energy and the Smart Grid.

For over 10 years, VHS has been creating specialized online courses for institutions and grant-funded projects as an extension of their mission to equip middle and high school students with 21st century learning skills and prepare them for future careers. All VHS courses are delivered co-synchronously and taught by VHS teachers who actively teach in classrooms at VHS member schools.  All are certified in their specific discipline and have completed a graduate level professional development program in online teaching. Instructors facilitate and continually monitor all courses, engaging students in discussions, and assessing each individual student's progress.

As part of the grant, 11 high school students from Hartford's Academy of Engineering in Green Technology spent this summer learning about OSHA compliance, how to operate heavy equipment, developed an understanding liquefied natural gas (LNG), electricity and more through a paid summer internship at Northeast Utilities subsidiaries, Connecticut Light & Power and Yankee Gas.

National Algae Association Issues Comment to Billion Ton Update; Launches New Initiatives

Enzo and Alex have been learning the tracks of the GRAND-AM Rolex Series each weekend of the series, and were looking forward to this weekend at Watkins Glen as it would have marked one of the few tracks the pair had time on in the past, in this case at the Sahlen's 6-hours of the Glen earlier in the season.  That didn't go exactly as plan as the pair had very little time on the circuit having an incident that forced the team to withdraw the car after the first practice of the weekend.  

States Popow; "We felt going from the long aston martin course to the short course for this weekend wasn't going to be a hard transition for Enzo and I, and even though we both got very little time in the car on the 6-hours weekend, having Jorg and Ryan there to guide us along should have us both up to speed pretty quickly.  We're looking for a strong result for both cars this weekend."

Bergmeister was in the #45 Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche Riley for the fame rc helicopter and car market place d Rolex 24 hours of Daytona, the car that sat in pole position for alfa romeo that race, and although finishing the race in 13th place, still had the fastest lap in the twice around the clock event.  Starworks is hoping that same pace will be evident again this weekend in both cars as Ryan Dalziel is also known for his fast pace behind the wheel.

The Canadian Tire 200 at the Glen will air LIVE on SPEED Channel at 6pm EST on August 14th.  On the season Popow and Potolicchio are fourth and fifth respectfully in the season long Jim Truman Award standings.  Dalziel on the season has two third place finishes, four Top-5's and five Top-10's, but is still looking to stand on the top step of the podium before the season is out.

A growing number of companies are using public announcements of sustainability goals as a means of signaling their commitment to become sustainability leaders, and to compete for superior positioning versus their rivals. "Despite the best of intentions, even some excellent companies are challenged to execute on the sustainability goals they announce," said David Schatsky, principal at Green Research and author of a new study about how corporations set and manage sustainability goals.

According to the report, "Setting and Managing Sustainability Goals: Trends and Best Practices for Sustainability Executives," management practices surrounding sustainabi alfa romeo lity goals vary widely among companies. While most companies have effective procedures for managing financial and other operational goals, processes for managing sustainability goals are still maturing. A quarter of the sustainability executives surveyed for the study say their companies have set "aspirational" sustainability goals and lack a clear plan to achieve them.

"Some companies have excellent procedures in place for defining and managing sustainability goals," said Schatsky, "but many are still developing and run the risk of disappointing stakeholders." A New Sci-Fi Series Goes Outside The Box For Financing

The Kiss download is the second facet of a multipronged crowd-financing model developed by Hypnopompic Productions (the production company behind Awakening).  The first component sought to raise funds through tax deductible donations via Fractured Atlas on IndiGogo, and they will soon be launching a third, undisclosed as of yet, component.

Although still in the midst of fundraising, Hypnopompic Productions has set the stage for Awakening and filming has begun on the series portion of the project. The show incorporates social media as an integral comp bmw onent, allowing the audience to be involved in the show in a way that cannot exist on regular television.  The main character has already been established as an existing entity, her blog, Facebook and Twitter accounts have been launched, and these sites will soon lead their followers down a bizarre path as the video blog posts take a turn for the bizarre and into the sci-fi realm.
