About the Author: First-time novelist Roy A Higgins lives in a small village in Lancashire, England. A retired electrical engineer, Higgins says Weekend in Amsterdam is loo rc helicopter and car market place sely based on his own life experiences. When he visited Amsterdam on a business trip in the late 1960s, he turned down an offer to supply industrial secrets to the Soviet Union. This novel explores what could have happened if the Russian agent making the offer had refused to take no for an answer. Higgins is currently writing his second novel.
